Information About Jaime McMillan
Jaime McMillan was born 1967 in Albany. GA He attended East Mecklenburg High School, Appalachian State University, Central Piedmont Community College, and graduated from North Carolina State University with a BA in Political Science. He later went back to school at night in his 30′s to earn a law degree from Trinity School of Law, a private law school in Santa Ana, California.
While in college he worked his way through school waiting tables, loading bags for an airline, and even shucking oysters at the local lunch counter for hungry state legislators in Raleigh. At North Carolina State, he enlisted in the Marine Corp Reserves while attending college and was honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal.
Jaime worked over twenty years as a broker for Charles Schwab helping families and small investors as an Adviser. Desiring to start his own business he left Schwab in 2007 opening his own advisory firm Qualitas Wealth Counsel with offices in California and Colorado. He resides in downtown Durango. He is divorced with two boys ages 8 and 9. In his spare time, he enjoys reading American history, biographies of Presidents, walking, yoga, snowboarding, and spending time with his sons.
